The Park House Story
Park House started life as a private residence in the 18th Century. Back then, it was called Park Place, and was a part of wave of new Georgian architecture sweeping the town of Elgin. The building's sister house, Highfield, is now a doctor's surgery, and was designed by the same architect.
The building was later converted into offices, before being taken over an run as the Park House Hotel. The hotel enjoyed great success, however the building was again converted back into offices in the 1990s.
In 2011, Park House was bought by Gairland LLP, a property development company, who restored Park House to its former glory.
